Farmhouse Bread (Vegan)

Ingredients

3 cups of organic all purpose flour

1 1/2 cups warm water

1 packet of instant yeast

1 tsp of Himalayan sea salt

Directions

  1. Warm the water and add a packet of instant yeast. Stir to mix completely

  2. Add in flour and salt, and mix until you have a doughy consistency

  3. Shape, place in a bowl, cover with a tea towel and let rise in the fridge for three hours

  4. Preheat oven to 450°. With 30 minutes left of rising, place the dutch oven or large pot (with top) in the oven and preheat for 30 minutes

  5. When the dough is done rising, flour a working surface and roll out and shape the dough, then sprinkle with flour

  6. Place dough on parchment paper, and reshape if need be. Place in dutch oven and cover 

  7. Bake for 30 minutes covered, then 15 minutes uncovered 

  8. Best served warm with butter, honey, jam, etc
