Bone Broth

Ingredients

One carcass organic chicken or turkey

1 bulb of fennel

1 cup cilantro with stems

Handful of lavender bulbs (optional)

2 carrots cut in threes

3 celery stalks cut in threes

1 1/2 tbs turmeric

2 tbs apple cider vinegar

1 1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt

Bunch fresh herbs (sage, thyme, rosemary)

1/2 lemon sliced (optional)

1 inch of ginger chopped

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a crock pot

  2. Set crockpot on warm/low

  3. Pour filtered water to the top of crockpot

  4. Stew for 12-24 hours

  5. Best for your system if you drink warmed an hour before bed or first thing in the morning
